Painting this 1/10 scale bust was a pleasure. Was able to use many paints that I had never opened until they were needed on this piece. Must say painting lady's is a challenge. Painted with acrylic's and used printers inks on the metal. This bust was sculpted by Carl Reid and is in the www.unitedempireminiatures.com line. Just finished painting this 1/9 scale bust made by United Empire Miniatures and Sculpted by Roman Rux. The bust comes with 2-different hat I chose to use the larger hat on the bust. Tom Durie 1614

My lasted painted figure. This 1/9 scale resin bust sculpted by Pavol Ovecka is of Tom Durie 1614. Jester to Anne of Denmark wife of British King James VI and I. The bust is based on the painting of Durie in the Scottish National Portrait Museum. I painted this bust with acrylics and printers inks. The bust is a new release from www.Unitedempireminiatures.com and I painted it for the box art photos.During his lifetime Tom Durie was considered the luckiest man alive.

The Lion Hunter

My recently finished bust. I Painted it with acrylics and I used printers inks on the metals. This 1/9 scale bust was sculpted by Polish sculptor Grzegorz Kapiec. The master was unfinished when I acquired it for United Empire Miniatures. I then over a period of time completed it so it could be cast and added to the United Empire Miniatures line of figures. The bust is some what based on a the character Allan Quatermain "The Lion Hunter". This bust was a fun one to paint, I enjoyed it as it has so different things to paint

French Dragoon 1810-1812

My latest painted piece French Dragoon Chef d'escadron 1810-1812 Made by Andrea Miniatures I painted this nice bust with acrylics and used printers inks on the metals. The torso was resin and the helmet and plume white metal.
