My latest painted bust. Spanish Admiral 16th Century 1/10 scale made by Pegaso Models, Italy. Sculpted by Victor Konnov. I painted this bust with acrylic's. The detail on this bust was outstanding and a challenge to paint.

Maharajah 1903

Maharajah 1903 1/10 scale bust made by La Meridiana Miniatures I painted this bust with acrylic's. Had to break out a brand new Windsor-Newton series 7 #0 paint brush to paint this one. The tiny gold embroidery required a very steady hand.

My painted version of "After the Battle" 1250 A.D. This 1/10 scale bust is made by Andrea Miniatures of Spain. I painted it with acrylic's. I got this bust kit when I was in Madrid Spain 8 years ago. Enjoyed painting it very much.

British 1st Life Guards Officer 1814 1/8 scale bust, I painted with acrylic's The bust was produced by Bonaparte Models and is made of a very hard white casting material.

Sacramento Hussar's 1859 Sculpted by Greg Girault for www.unitedempireminiatures.com The Sacramento Hussars ordered their uniforms from a uniform supplier in Germany. The Hussars became part of the California National Guard. I painted this 1/10 scale bust with acrylic's. The photos are being used for the box art.

Musketeer Regiment Perri 1682

Musketeer Regiment Perri 1682 Army of Louis XIV 1643-1715 This bust was sculpted several years ago by Roman Rux for www.unitedempireminiatures.com I painted the bust colors to Regiment Perri after finding a color print of the regiments uniform. There were several different musketeer regiments during Louis XIV reign, Regiment Lyonnais was also one of them.Regiment Perri was from Corsica.

Frederick the Great King of Prussia

Frederick the Great (24 January 1712 – 17 August 1786) ruled the Kingdom of Prussia from 1740 until 1786, the longest reign of any Hohenzollern king, at 46 years. 1/9 scale bust sculpted by Anton Derbilov, new from www.unitedempireminiatures.com I painted this bust with acrylic's the photos of my painted bust will be used for the box art.

"The Money Changer"

"The Money Changer" this 1/9 scale bust is base on the painting by Matthias Stom it was painted between 1630 and 1635. The painting is currently on display in the Rijks Museum, Amsterdam Netherlands. Stom left the Netherlands early on for Italy where he was strongly influenced by Caravaggism. This painting was his most spirited and colorful work. Christ storms into the temple startling the moneychanger. The bust depicts the most colorful subject in the painting. The bust is sculpted by Pavol Ovecka for www.unitedempireminiatures.com I painted it with acrylic's. The photos of my painted bust will be used for the box art.

My 54mm diorama is now complete. Over a year in the making, happy to have finish this fun diorama.The Napoleon figure is from Andrea Miniatures, Davout, Beauharnais and the Mamluck made by Figurinitaly. Capitaine Dreux-Nancre from Metal Modeles. The bones and skulls from Drakkar-Models. Left side of Castle made by Black Army Modells. Right side converted from a kit and the bones room was made by me. I painted the diorama with acrylic's.

The original uniform this bust is based on is on display at The Old State House Boston. This is a great bust to paint and I enjoyed it very much.

CHAOS LORD

My lasted painted bust a fantasy piece. Chaos Lord 1/9 scale made by M J Miniatures, Korea and sculpted by Romain Van den Boaert. Not sure what a Chaos Lord does but I painted one. Was able to use a lot of different paints that don't normally get used.
