English Royal Officer 1643 1/6 scale resin bust. Finished this nice bust sculpted by Matt Springer years ago for United Empire Miniatures. I painted this bust with acrylic's. It was a joy to paint.I find that I can do more with the eyes on a bit larger bust.

Aztec Warrior Mexia Captain 1519 1/10 scale bust sculpted by Pablo Ronda for United Empire Miniatures. I painted this bust with acrylics and oils also printers inks. My photos will be used for the box art.The umbrella shaped head dress was worn by the captain in battle, so his warriors could see the head dress (banner) and rally around him. It was mounted on his back by means of a wooden rack. He wore a cotton suit covered in feathers.

I painted this 1/6 scale bust for the box art photos. Painted with acrylic's and a bit of oil paints.This was a real test for me as the eyes are very prominent on this bust.I think these are the best eyes I have painted.

I converted this bust to a Triballi Tribe by sculpting in a cowhide texture on the Phrygian cap and on the shield.( I used green stuff)Then I was able to paint the cowhide fur. I also painted the cloth earth tones.

Yugoslav People’s Liberation Army Partisan 1945 He has a captured German MG 42 machine gun slung over his left shoulder and plenty of ammunition.This was a great bust to paint German shirt, Yugoslav Army cap and nearly 200 bullets. The red flag sticking from the barrel of the machine gun was earned by the machine gunner.It reads: NAJBOLJI MI TRALJEZAC II BATALJUNU PRVOMAJ. TAKMICENJE It means: Best machine gunner II battalion 1.May competition. I painted this bust for the www.unitedempireminiatures.com box art. Painted with acrylic's.
